Welcome to CrossFit Oaks Fitness Box!

Our purpose is to provide an effective CrossFit program that will enable people of all ability levels to grow, thrive and reach their full fitness potential.

We offer a high performance fitness training facility located in the Airport Oaks area. Instead of rows of stationary bikes and weight machines, our facility is filled with pull-up bars, kettlebells, barbells, rowers and wide open space for squatting, running, jumping, climbing, lifting and throwing – moving your body the way it is supposed to be moved. We focus on improving functional movements that are necessary and common in your daily activities.

At CrossFit OFB, you will never work out alone. Instead, you will train with a small group of highly motivated individuals and you will get the personal attention that you just can’t find at a large gym. We strive to create a friendly, safe and fun atmosphere that welcomes people from all walks of life.

Our Mission

We believe that people with passion can make a big difference. Through our programming and methods of helping people achieve specific fitness goals, we hope to inspire new ambassadors in the community to join this revolution of redefining what society believes is healthy. CrossFit is more than just a sport or work out, it is a culture and a way of life for living stronger and longer!

What We Teach

We will teach the general fitness skills required for CrossFit:

Cardiovascular/Respiratory Endurance
The ability of body systems to gather, process, and deliver oxygen.
Stamina
The ability of body systems to process, and deliver, store, and utilize energy.
Strength
The ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply force.
Flexibility
The ability to maximize the range of motion at a given joint.
Power
The ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply force in minimum time.
Speed
The ability to minimize the time cycle of a repeated movement.
Coordination
The ability to combine several distinct movements patterns into a singular distinct movement.
Agility
The ability to minimize transition time from one movement pattern to another.
Balance
The ability to control the placement of the bodies center of gravity in relation to its support base.
Accuracy
The ability to control movement in a given direction or at a given intensity.
